The short 9" barrel gives almost full power for the .429 GNR Encore. An Uber Pirate gun. It will shoot a 320 gr. at some 1500+ fps. Bullets that heavy will work in the .429 GNR single shot but NOT revolvers. The bullets will pull under recoil due to the short neck and minimized neck tension.

Normally I'd want at 12" or so for balance but the shorty does not give up much.
