A crooked nose makes no mostly matter at all. Try it yourself. A uniform exhaust of the gasses from the muzzle as the bullet base exits DOES make a huge difference in straight flight.

Now I'm not speaking about benchrest competition, I can't shoot that good. But common plinking you can't really tell.
