I feel it would really be a serious violation and somehow upset the balance of all natural order to modify it. Really. I still wish for a 4” version, not a long cyl. Magnum, but a purpose built, tapered barrel, Special. I wish they matted the top strap akin to the M27. That would have been too much. Later I found that my 624 is factory drilled and tapped under the rear sight for scope mounting! Not that I was inclined, but that’s $25+ a hole! Nice.
