I also started with a 44 SBH. Veral made me a 320 gr wfn mold that was made to fit my gun from a lead slug I sent him. Immediately started loading it really hot with triplex loads talked about in the gun magazines at the time. I was using old components from an estate sale I bought including primers in little wooden boxes. Started to develop nerve damage in my right hand. Thought the gun was the problem so I sold it. Never bought another SBH until I ran into Gary. Now I have a safe full. And the nerve damage is gone
