My favorite for long range jackrabbits is the 300GNR. A 30 carbine with a 300 GNR cylinder lets you shoot both of those and a slightly shortened 32-20..... if you are a handloader. If not a handloader, the 22 WMR is good.
9mm 1911’s are really good and fun too.
