perfect sense. For the revolver, the performance difference is not worth truly considering. The simple case forming is a great advantage and smaller case diameter should afford more favorable traits in use.
My .300 has an auxiliary cylinder in .327 that really affords flexibility but I'd love to play with the .321. I'm only worried I'd neglect the .300 once I got into the fun. Sort of like the .32-20, such fun and historic, but the .327 cylinder renders it a bit frivolous for the cost.
