unmanageable as a handgun and super handy carbine (it's legal). I have one in .440 GNR and maybe my .476 GNR in that configuration. The .416 is expensive to shoot compared to the .378 GNR except if you shoot the Speer 350 gr. bullets. They don't make many less than uber-premium .416 slugs.

The .378 has an edge on versatility but both are fun. That's what I did, got both!
