355 GNR is the cartridge T likes. She wants something that can shoot pistol and rifle bullets which leaves the choice down to the 355 or the 400. There seems to be more bullets available for the 35 cal including the Sierra 180 grain silhouette bullet. The velocity in the 12" Encore puts a 200 grain bullet at around 2000 fps! Folks that is what a 35 Remington will do with the same weight bullet but in a 20" barrel!

I wonder what an extra 8" will do in the 355 GNR? I wonder if Shawn has other data for the 158 or 140 grain bullet?

Impressive. Performance is between (and I'm guessing here) between the 35 Remington and the 356 Winchester. It may be even past the 356 Winchester is 8 extra inches of barrel length gives me 300-400 fps compared to the 12" Encore barrel.

This looks like a hell of a cartridge Gary designed! Wow!
