Testing the 355 GNR? The 356 Winchester holds 51 grains h2o and I understand the 355 is straightened out and shoulder blown forward but I'm impressed with the efficiency for amount of powder burned. The testing data shows nUmbers of around 2000-2100 fps with a 200 gr bullet using a 12" Encore barrel, but this will be in a 20” lever action barrel. Would I be correct in assuming an additional 300-350 fps gain?
It seems like a heck of a cartridge and easily surpasses the 35 Remington. Paper figures put it on par or passes even the 375 Winchester at a lower pressure if I'm correct!
Thanks Sean
