There are numerous manufacturers in the scope space these days, but for years I have been happy with Burris. I picked up 2 “Droptine” models during Covid, one for me and the other for my oldest son. Both are 3x9 with a BDC, we have them on a 270 and a 30-06. Been very happy. Leupold is another fine scope, but their prices have just grown exponentially. Weaver and Redfield were good for me too. All of those are within your budget (well, Leupolds might be pushing it), and the glass is quality. Please let us know what you wind up doing. I prefer the opinions and experiences of guys on this list.
