Would not hesitate to hunt small game with it. The gun is a SXS, W C Scott and Sons Greener Boxlock with Damascus barrels. It’s in 16 ga, I sent it to Brilley and had it tube to 28ga with screw in chokes. It is very light weight even with the tubes. I have hunted with it in 16 ga but prefer it in 28. Gary is a big fan of the 28ga!
