Holster question:chest vs tanker vs ?

Recently I was having an adult beverage with a hunting companion and the topic of “other” holsters came up. We were debating the merits of cross-draw, bandoleer, shoulder, tanker and chest holsters. We were really trying to decide what the best overall system is if you were going to be in the boondocks for an extended period of time and may find yourself on horseback or an atv or even in a plane. Or maybe if the balloon goes up and you have to skedaddle with your loved ones to safety. You might be chopping wood, hunting, wandering around, or just in camp sitting by the fire with a warm cup of coffee in your hand. So, with the winter storm bearing down on most of us, what do you think is the best, overall system for carrying your handgun of choice out in the boonies?
