an Encore frame with an original factory 3006 barrel on it. I wears a Leupold 2-7 variable and is quite accurate.
IN addition I do have a couple of Contender and G2 frames. I like the lighter/slimmer profile of that frame. It makes for a great walking around gun.
What I like about the 7mm GNR and maybe the 30 GNR family is that the case is a simple fireform. I have read that the formation of 309 JDJ brass is a multi step process. I like simple and the GNR class with a 30-30 case seems to fit that bill.
