Leather cartridge carriers; the old green tarnish that makes the ammo unusable until it’s cleaned off. I figure some saddle soap on the leather is the best bet. Brass needs to be clean and dry?

.255 Banshee’s left for 5-7 yrs. probably. Cleaned up ok, no pits in brass. Scrapped off green first with pocket knife then polished with 5xO steel wool.
