A compact version with say a 3-1/2” barrel and shorter (20) shot mag. It would weigh less than the big gun’s 14 oz. (It’s a feather) and the mechanics of the action would remain the same as the full size.
You’d think those would sell like hot cakes! Great for dainty little girls and old men alike. The old AMT .22 mag was originally 6-1/2” barrel and they made a compact version. But shortened the slide and changed dynamics too. They were never truly reliable but some did pretty good. They pioneered a unique version of delayed blow-back action.
