I doubt that would hold up in court with UPS doing the tampering. There are 5 senators behind all this. I have a call in trying to find out who they are. The United Parcel Service is a private business so I doubt very seriously they could be held accountable. If you had the parcel insured then you might get whatever you insured it for, but they would fight it all the way, saying you packed it wrong and so on.
