I’m about out of Accurate #9, and haven’t located any “in stock”. I’m trying to use cast 140grain and Acme 150 grain SWC coated bullets.
Have had some success with Lil Gun powder, but it is really compressed above 11 grains.
I’m hoping someone has used 2400 because it looks like the correct burn rate for the 140 grain bullets and i have some of it.
Since the 38 Super is powerful enough for all American game, this may be my new elk hunting rig. 378GNR might be better for elk, but this would be lighter and more economical (we are in a recession you know).
