your rimfire experiments with recollection of lubing the .480, but you had mentioned tumble lube and then mica or talc to cut down on stickiness. Alox cut with mineral spirits dries hard and seems to work for many, but this guy cut his Alox with something also containing mineral spirits but with additional waxes for a hard film, and generated a 50+ page thread with his very simple solution.
