revolver loads are with 296 and I try to have a lightly compressed load on all of them. Back many years ago when Lee Jurras had his Super Vel ammo out he used a lot of 296 and he told me to always have the powder charge, if possible, lightly compressed. Never leave an air pocket in there or you get a misfire with a partial burn with the remaining powder a yellow clump with a bad smell to it.
