At the gun show last weekend I picked up a Century mfg. model 100 in 45-70. It’s a bit rough so I sent it to Gary for “the treatment “. With scope it’s about 7 lbs. 12 inch octagon ported barrel. I can hold it on target for 5 seconds before the weight overcomes my hold. Yes yes I took the scope off.
