I've been thinking hard about a 40 SW pistol since everyone got hot for the G35 on the Christmas sale. I've been wanting a semiauto woods gun that's thin and lightweight, but still packs a good punch. I had never thought of the 40SW, well, honestly because it's not a 10mm. I'll admit that I fell victim to hype on that one. But now that I'm really getting to know what I want, I think the 40SW just might be the thing in a 5 or 5.5 inch barrel. In a gun like the Shield or the XDS with and extended barrel, I'd have it.
