to drill a hole in the butt of the gun that is one step down from the thread size of the lanyard. Then you have to thread the hole to the size of the lanyard loops threads. Then clean up the threads and red Lok Tite the lanyard in. A 15 minute job of you have the right tools.

Scotty could do it in 10. Dremel and Duct tape.

I actually have done one sling swivel but my eyes are getting bad. A while back I tried a simple thing and got it all wrong, the bit walked etc. I had to send it to GNR, luckily it was hidden under the forend of a TC.

When you get old you have to really go slow and be sure. I'm not used to it yet.

measure twice before cutting and you can always take more metal off but in most cases putting it back cannot be done.

As I advance, carelessness is becoming lots more expensive!
