Everything is flooded between Sean and I this morning...

I'm good with only light rain. My property is pretty high and well drained.

Winnie, TX about halfway between Sean and I have already had 42" of rain. A good time to pray for these folks. They were hard hit during Hurricane Harvey. Most haven't even fully recovered.

Yep and it is coming down hard right now.

Moving South towards you. Stay safe when you travel. Just watched footage of 18 Wheelers on I-10 with water in the cab.

Have a 30+ year friend trapped on Hwy 59 right now. Safe, but stuck like chuck.

not sure who we can blame for all this. Here in AZ we

have had no monsoon at all, for the first time since recorded weather. In a normal year with the heavy monsoon rains we should be hip deep in tall grass now but all we have is dry crinkly grass, pretty much dead. Our first frost is usually around Labor Day weekend but here it is 2/3 of the way thru September and no frost yet. And they can't blame it on global warming as it was just the opposite earlier this year with a cooler May and early June. The hot June is what helps the Monsoon to start around July 4th, but the cooler weather kept the storms from developing.

Not sure how this is going to effect our snows that are due in about a month. If we don't have the moisture we don't get the snow and that could cause heavy forest fires next spring and summer.

I guess we shouldn't whine as we aren't under 30" of rain. But we could use a little of that.

global warming means "climate change".

but I don't want to get into semantics and science. You either believe there is global warming taking place that will effect the temps of the planet, which can change climates in a variety of ways, or you don't. I do, but I'm ok if others don't. It's a personal choice. The world population will eventually find out for sure, one way or the other in the next 40 or so years......

like you say it's all up to what you believe, I

believe it is all BS. If you look at who is pushing it, from Al Gore on up, how can anyone with half a brain believe it. It is all about money.

If the temperature has never changed

in the earth's history, then we would be hunting dinosaurs or the world would be under ice and snow and the forum wouldn't exist.

Change is the only constant

low or went lower in many parts of the world so they had to change the term to Climate Change as if that were something new. It has been said that Al Gore racked in over 5 billion on his Global Warming speeches and all the government grants that Obama passed around to combat global warming. Only a real jughead would fall for all that crap.

I believe we’ve been warming since the last ice age
