JT, I saw your reviews of the Garrett Hammerhead .44 loads on the Garrett Cartridge website, definitely not for my Model 29 but would the 310 grain loads be OK in my Super Black Hawk? Not a steady diet by any means, just an occasional cylinder full to see how they shoot and for carry during camping, fishing and hiking in the mountains.
For my use maybe the 250 gr. Defenders or 250 gr. Hammerheads may be a better option??

in the new model Super Blackhawk the Garrett

Hammerheads would be fine. A steady diet would probably cause more problems with your wrists and elbows than in the gun. I tend to like the lighter weight bullets so the 240 or 250 would be my choices.

YES AND GARY IS RIGHT ABOUT WRISTS!
