I got some bullets cast and some ammo loaded. The weather is much cooler than it had been and we finally got some rain. I received an answer to prayer this afternoon that I had talked to Papa about just this morning!

So it has been good ... but then, I learned a long time ago that we don't have "good" and "bad" days. We have "Days of Grace".

Some days it's Grace to Enjoy and some days it's Grace to Endure.

I am enjoying this one.

Glad it’s a good day for you

Mexican weddings give 13 coins from husband to wife. It is for good luck and to show that you will take care of her and your family. Why 13? 12 Apostles and 1 Jesus.

Surprised they count all 12, 1 of them was "bad luck".

On Friday, October 13, 1307, officers of King Philip IV of France arrested hundreds of the Knights Templar, a powerful religious and military order formed in the 12th century for the defense of the Holy Land.

Imprisoned on charges of various illegal behaviors (but really because the king wanted access to their financial resources), many Templars were later executed. Some cite the link with the Templars as the origin of the Friday the 13th superstition, but like many legends involving the Templars and their history, the truth remains murky.

13 is as American as it gets
