HAD AN 8# TRIGGER AND IS IN THE SHOP AS SOMETHING INSIDE IS PREVENTING CARTRIDGES BEING LOADED; THE ROSSI HAD AN 8# TRIGGER; THE HENRY WAS GOOD TO GO.

We have a Marlin .450 and now my .41 Henry both are good

Golden Boy, Lever Action 22s, etc...

The Henry Steel is like a Marlin 336 sized for pistol cartridges. I just can't go for the plated or painted pot metal guns.

I have the Henry Steel in 327 Federal and 41 Magnum. They're as good as any Marlin I've ever seen.

My Dad loved and collected Marlins, so I grew up shooting them. Still the Cadillac of Lever Guns. I have an Octagon Barrel 336 CB in 38-55 that will embarrass some target guns.

Trick is to get what makes you happy and enjoy it.
