And I've been working with it in the new Ruger #1...

Using Leverevolution Powder I can exceed 2500 fps with the Hornady 150 grn SST Bullet. This bullet has a very high B.C. of .415...

With this combination, the gun easily moves into a different catagory. Sighted in 1.5" high at 100 yards puts it 2" low at 200 yards. At this distance it still has 1500+ fpe and expands well. Accuracy is sub 1" at 100 yards to boot...

No doubt all Gary's 30-30 based Wildcats will do more. More and more, I think of a 23" 338 Falcon Carbine.

It falls almost dead center between the 30-30 and 38-55...

In bullet diameter, so a happy medium. I believe with the efficient, improved case it would crowd the 358 WCF with less powder, blast and recoil...
