Gary, just wondering if you've made any headway with this? Excited to own one once development is complete. Thinking 20" full bull Encore barrel would be sweet. Thank you for your time.

So far so good. I have a new reamer ordered. The

first one didn't quite cut the neck deep enough and about .050 of the neck was actually out into the rifling, so I have ordered a new one with a bit longer neck. Other than that it is working great in an AR-10. Lots of power and should give us a considerably more power than the 250 Savage or the 257 Roberts but in a semi auto. This is our first cartridge that I have developed for a semi auto rifle, so I am anxious to see it get perfected. We have the dies, but I want to get the neck problem solved first before we really start to push it.

Will you sell barrels or uppers?

is a viable one before I go any further. We build barrels for AR-15s and AR-10s so that's no problem but first the cartridge has to pass a lot of tests.

Is that on the AR-15 platform?

It is basically the 243 case blown out with straight walls, sharp shoulder and short neck and chambered to .257.

Thanks Gary, sounds awesome.
