another estate jewel

This is a semi auto Thompson 1927-A1 in 45 ACP. It is the all steel version, the good one. A real Thompson, not the cheap copy. The gun comes in it's own case and this one has the drum magazine and the 30 round stick magazine. The drum magazine alone runs somewhere around $300. The gun retails for about $1295. It has been fired but very little. The old gentleman just wanted to have a Thompson to show his friends. It has a few tiny scratches on it but is in at least 95% condition. You just don't see many of these around. The retail value on this beauty would be somewhere around $1600. I saw 3 on the internet at $1990 and $2195 and they were in about the same shape but did not have the drum magazine. This one is sale priced at $1095 plus shipping.
