Star PD/alloy frame?
I have a Star PD which, despite its other virtues, is cursed with one of the worst out-of-the box triggers I have ever encountered in a single-action auto. This offer is very tempting, but I don't know if you 1) do action work on Stars, and 2) can/will refinish an alloy frame?
the Reeder Clan has 5 Star PDs and the triggers on every
one of them is perfect, about 3 lbs. We can probably take care of that. Not having it here in front of me keeps me from saying for sure that we can, but I would bet on it. As far as the refinishing it, we reblue the slide and satin finish the frame for a 2 toned gun as in the pics below. The guns below are full custom but yours would look much the same without the engraving.

The trigger on the one I have from Gary is perfect
and the finish is excellent. It's just like the one Gary posted.
Jim, John Taffin and I spent a great 3 days together
a few years back and decided to come up with a gun for the 3 of us. It was decided to go with the Star PD as we all liked that model. I fancied them up a bit and engraved them special for the 3 of us.

I have an almost new if not actually unfired star PD that previous owner let rust, would this be able to be polished out with a refinish?
