I bought an antique observed trials motorcycle. Never tried that before so it interests me, going as slow as possible and not putting your foot down. I can get all sorts of info off "youtube" if my data download is not exceeded. But i'd sure like a "book" to hold in my lap, in my easy chair, with a relaxing beverage close by. It just brings me pleasure and is very enjoyable. Looking online I found USED books on the subject from about $50 to $350!!!

Ditto the excellent Goerg book we sometimes reference on Handgun Hunting. Almost always north of $200. The Jurris co-written work is still a real bargain, take advantage while you can. Have you checked your Taffin hardcovers?! Egads!!! $100+ on almost all of them. Bowen's revolver book skyrocketed as soon as the printed version sold out.

Gary's self published handgun hunting books are still available and will be HUGE values in the future. I hope he considers a PDF version for sale in the future for the next generation. We perhaps do not realize the rarity of the written topic and it's availability. Times are changing with technology and it may come to a time where we have to explain "what a book is" to our grandchildren or great grandchildren. Hang on to your good books!

thanks, my first book sold out pretty quick and

I have maybe 150 of the second book left. I am thinking about adding several chapters and a lot more pics to the first book and re-releasing it. But that is a bit down the road. It costs me a bunch to have the book published and I am still getting over my $30,000 Africa hunt. Damn, now I am sounding like WB and whining about money.

But several things down the road. First I need to have my 3rd edition of the reloading manual reprinted with the new stuff added. Then maybe the 1st edition book. Then....

Seriously hope you do a three ring manual...

doubtful. It costs me 3 times what the normal book costs.

I talked to a couple of companies and my cost was more per book than I sold the regular reloading book for.

How much of an antique? Montessa, Bultaco, Greeves?

A Gas Gas and Vertigo late models. He wants me to start AHRMA Trials competition with the 1975 Suzuki RL250. The worst performing of the Jap efforts. But it has a trick sleeved carb and flywheel weights. Good enough for me to learn on. I just can't spend 10k on a new 150 lb. Trials bike. (This was $1300 and will always be worth that much at minimum) Vintage interests me, fewer are into that (better odds), and I can fix what breaks. Except maybe my hip. Lol
