It was unseasonably hot this year. Ranchers getting another last cut of hay, leaves still on the trees. I took a stroll and was entranced by Fallow deer, still on my list rather than the wall.

"The Rock". I've taken many pictures of it behind the old barn. Formed by the lapping waters of an ancient lake. I'm completely secure in Creationism but ponder the spans of time. The world was formed, but Lucifer and his followers had to fall prior to Adam. Would love to talk to Jim Taylor over a baloney sandwich and soda on that one. Perhaps it is my mental pollution of enduring Historical Geology 201 fall of 1984. I like this rock. I'd be in the Himalayas hunting Marco Polo sheep and get distracted chipping at a rock face searching for Trilobites!
