This is one of our own new guns. It has the lightweight alloy frame and the all steel slide. It is a two toned gun in 45 ACP. It is full custom from the ground up. It has a new custom frame and slide, extended slide stop, extended safety, custom commander hammer, custom beavertail, match grade barrel, 3 dot sights with the front a night sight, custom Goncalo Alves grips, match grade bushing, custom trigger and the deluxe Black Chromex finish. The gun would normally be somewhere in the $2500 range but is sale priced at $1695 plus shipping.

I think a company, Federal Ordinance, were making aluminum frames. They were frail and prone to break at the safety pin hole. It might have been cast too. So it was dicey back in the early days. They have it all figured out now.

If I remember mine weighed around 30-32 oz. unloaded with mag. It was a huge difference in feel and I really favored it way above a steel Commander. They (Comannders) have always felt a little clubby to me, where the full Govt. Model points like an angry Granny. It is a very unique custom build.

Let's keep Winn from getting it!

'Points like an angry granny', I'm using that!

My 76 year old mom actually points that way.

I'm with WB, love the way a Gov't Model points.
