hands, I am wondering how the Ruger 6758 SR1911 LW Officer model
felt, did you have sufficient grip, I know you thought it was sufficiently accurate, and being a Ruger I am sure it is well made. Any additional feedback would be appreciated.

Not John, but I think you have him mistaken for

somebody else. When I spent 3 days with John at his home in Idaho a couple of years ago, we spent some time with some Star PDs. John had a couple and we picked the best to build a custom gun on. When he and I held them I noticed that John has medium size hands, as I do and the PD's small frame was fine in his hand as it is in mine. Both John and I have been blessed with strong hands. If not, with the amount of rounds we both shoot every year, carpal tunnel would have hit both of us long ago. Maybe you are thinking of Bill Jordan. He had catcher's mitts for hands.

Just looking at pictures of John holding a weapon. Wondered

How the Ruger compares to the Glock 43/26/27.
Thank y’all.

I have large hands, the grip fits me just fine. Remember its a handgun designed to conceal and not designed for comfort. The recoil has a bite to it but it is manageable. Accuracy is good out to 25. Personally I do prefer a all steel model to aid with recoil.
