But I got the chance to buy three sets of these. I put them on my 5" GPs in 44 Special, 327 Federal and 22 LR. They were too beautiful to pass up.

JT did a great article last month reviewing the 44 Special. As always, it was well written and straight to the point.

This gun will not allow my .0015" feeler gouge in the barrel gap on any chamber. The case heads of Starline brass have .0025" clearance.

Brass bead front sight and white outline rear blade. Throats accept a .313" cast bullet with a little push. A first class act throughout.

I can't tell you they are all built like this one. But, it's definitely not for sell.

Since you mention .44 Spl. . .A friend of mine

is leaning toward a 4.25" SW 69 over a 5 inch GP. I'm sure the 69's are fine but I'm a sucker for blue. So I'm guessing you love your 5" GP 44 like you do your 327??

I do, but gotta tell you I only own 3 S&W Revolvers...

And one is the 4.2" M69. I picked it up and couldn't leave it there.

I do like the 44 Special a lot more than the Magnum. It just performs well without all the fuss. Sort of like a 45 Colt Jr.

Have to admit the 44 Special usually outshpots the only 45 Colt.

LOL sounds like my friend will be ok with either! Thanks
