Any opinions or horror stories?
they are a decent gun, not the quality of a Ruger

by any stretch but a decent gun. Not meant for hot loads. They are (in my humble opinion) about like all the other Italian made 44 Magnums. They are maybe as strong as the old model Ruger Super Blackhawks, maybe. My opinion, for what it's worth, is save your money and buy a Ruger.
if John's opinion differs from mine, go with his. He

Its the same gun with a round barrel.
Quality is superb, but I agree not as robust as the Ruger.
Gun is very tight and measures out as good as any custom I own. Great sights and cylinder timing is perfect. Fit and finish has to be experienced, not to mention grip design.
Hope this doesn't offend anyone, but I wish my Colts were half as good.
I shoot hot 44 Special loads in magnum brass in mine.
JT did an excellent review on the Bad Boy some time back.
RUGER IS NEVER A MISTAKE.
