What would be your thoughts on rechambering a super16 contender barrel in 35rem to your 350 GNR?

A G2 or Original frame? Most likely you will not get to

shoot full power loads. I think Gary says to reduce by 10% for G2 loading.

I have a very similar project bouncing in my head to rechamber a 30-30 to 310 GNR. My frame is a G2.

It's an original

He's done them for both. Much naughtier things

back in the day too. However if cost of brass is a consideration his new .355 GNR on the .30-30 case is great as is the .30 GNR. We have one of the latter and get great performance from a 13" G2.

no problem. The 338 GNR, 350 GNR, 378 GNR

and several others were all developed in the Contender, years before the Encore came out. Just watch your loads.
