We're the first truck in.

Both Daren and I shot Impala today. Daren's shot was early. Again, the 303 British Ruger #1 performed like a champ. It ran about 300 yards and dropped.

My opportunity came later. Not a perfectly clear shot. The top half of the animal was all I could see. A 250 grain Accubond from the 9.3x74R Ruger #1 thru the spine and it dropped like a cinder block.

BTW, this experience hasn't swayed me towards...

The Belted and Super Magnums. Nothing could have performed better than our old century plus old cartridges.

As the other hunters come in, I'll report.

Impala Day Continues...

Larry and David both got Impala this morning. It rained a small amount last night and they were feasting of freshly washed leaves this morning.

sounds great; Impala are great eating. It seems that tradition rules over there with the calibers being used; just makes me want to get my No 1 is 9.3X64 Brenneke finished. As for R@uger No. 1s, I had better just shut the f*$k up...

Pictures! we are guys, we are visual, we need pictures man
