Are the Leupold dovetail rings different heights

on a revolver single piece base? I mounted a new scope then attempted to bore sight and I’m out of down elevation. I’ll ask before I cut some aluminum can shims for the rear ring.

You can get down to extra low in the dual dovetail rings.

They should be the same height

revolvers use the medium rings. I would change rings before I put a shim under the scope. I don't like shims at all.

Most of the time I use the Burris Signature Rings...

They come with bushings to adjust for such problems. Also, they hold better and zero marks left on scopes.

I've never had a scope move mounted in these rings.

all dual dovetail rings are the same height.
