the 470 GNR and 501 GNR

Both these cartridges are the 500 Linebaugh necked down to .475 and to .500. In the pic below the 470 GNR is on the left, the 501 GNR on the right.

Both of these cartridges are ball busters. The 470 GNR will put the 325 grain XTP out at well over 1600 fps, the 375 grain WFNGC at almost 1500 fps and the 405 WFNGC at almost 1450 fps.

The 501 GNR will put a 390 grain WFNGC at well over 1400 fps and the 425 grain WFNGC at almost 1450 fps.
Both of these cartridges were tested in 10" Encore barrels.

a standard Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk frame is fine for the conversion.

So with my 475L Flattop Hunter in there for Ukranian
