Reeder Custom Guns - Remington has done it again. They have taken a

classic 870 Wingmaster and turned it into a plastic fantastic something they call the 870 DM for detachable magazine. I think the 870 WTF would have been a better moniker. Stay tuned for pictures.

better. Gunsmith's made easy money opening up the chambers and ejection ports for opened 3" hulls before they had mainstream 870 12 Magnums widely available. OUr local guy charged about $25-30 with some nice .44-40 Formula cold blue for free.

The J-safety, non concentric bores with barrels, plastic trigger housings, plastic followers, beginning of the end for me.

Gary, I can't wait to see what tactical package you and your guys can transform the 870DM into. I would be first in line too. Just a thought, but could you add a bayo mount? I have some of Rosies favorite toys retrofitted so they will fit on a bayo mount (it is so fun to play war games with her that way).
