I just like the feel of wood over some of the others. I find the grips on mine almost too slick to get a grip.

Quite a tragedy really as they were so beautiful and very expensive. If I ever get anymore of that material I would have to look into having it stabilized. As to the Corian, I have had several sets. Gary has a guy that builds beautiful sixgun stocks. For my hands they allow more than enough purchase even on really hot days when my hands are sweaty. I highly recommend them as they are very strong, wont shrink, wont crack, and will last forever.
