another consignment that is interesting

right at closing time an older gentleman came in with a few guns on consignment. The handguns were nothing special, Walther PPQs, Remington 380s and such but he had a rifle that I found very enticing. It is a mint condition Ruger #1 in 257 Roberts. The gun is an older one from back when they had nice wood and their bluing was perfect. I don't think the old fellow ever shot it. It has the rings with it also. These guns are few and far between. This one is priced at $950 plus shipping. I don't have pics here at the house but will post them if necessary Monday. I don't imagine this one will last long. Perfect condition and a classic to boot. Retail on the newer Ruger #1 with so-so wood and finish is well over a grand. This one is a steal at $950 plus shipping.
