Doug's flipped his nut. He should sell off that .500 S&W No. 1 first but here you go. His favorite rifle of mine. A totally maxed out Ruger No. 1 in .500 NE 3". Island high profile rough duty rear sight and super high vis front band sight with muzzle brake. One or two mercury recoil reducers in butt, Soft recoil pad, custom anti-recoil forend retaining bushing under wood and glassed in. Weighs 9 lbs. 11 oz. which is about right for a heavy. Recoil with 570 gr. bullets at 2100 fps is surprisingly easy, less than typical factory .458 bolt guns. My wife shot it!

If you have EVER wanted a .500 Nitro this is a rare chance for less than about $5k on the open market. Any Reeder custom with no waiting is a blessing. Let Doug tell you more... (books are mine, J.A.Hunter is THE authority on the .500 NE and game)

Hunter by J. A. Hunter is a heck of a testament to 500 Nitro!

How much does Doug want for it?

Sorry for the late response. No brass or dies available but they are readily available, I think mine are hornady and they sell empty brass.
