Question for OGS and Woody. Both of you have super mags, what's your impressions of the calibers, in general. Target, game, accuracy at range. I.e. yardage.

had thoughts of finding a used Ruger .357 Max. to customize. But I'd likely get a .455 SM made so I could shoot .44 Special, .44 Mag. or SM. I once had a Reeder barrel in .445 SM that was the stuff! It shot it all quite accurately despite the varied lengths of rounds. I figured GNR has the correct throating spec that allows this.

I have a Wyoming Hunter in 41 GNR #2

and a extra cylinder in 414 SM.
I took a hog with it using a 255gr cast bullet, shot him thru the shoulders at 50 yards, hog ran maybe 30 yards and piled up .Accuracy is very good with cast, 255gr ,285gr and 210gr XTP's
to about 70 yards. I have not shot past 70 yards with the open sights ,barrel is 7".
