New Ruger GP-100 44 Special 5" from Lipseys...

Picked up mine from my LGS today. Normally, not a double action guy, but this is one well built gun.

The only problem was a small angle in the rear sight. Turned out the pivot hole through the sight leaf wasn't straight. I stuck in a new one and gun is perfect.

Of course, all I can see is a base gun. I can imagine the barrel slab sided and the full length lug shortened.

But, rumor of another variation on the way. I'll wait and decide what to do then.

For now, the gun is great as is.
