IMHO, its the best TC ever built. Don't settle for anything less than the best. You won't live to wear it out, so buy a good action now and add barrels later.

I'm sure if I run across one I will snap it up. I've only seen the old Contenders though.
the G-2 frame will probably cost less than a contender

frame. For some strange reason guys are thinking the Contenders are collectors items. Go with the G-2. If you break a part in the Contender you are S.O.L. Thompson Center has very few old parts. The G-2 is the way to go.
