Gary how are gun sales these days. I have 4 shops that I go to and they are always busy. Haven't heard anything lately, anywhere, about sales.

it's according to what we sell and the time of year

during hunting season we are always busy. Other than that Flagstaff is a tourist town, the road to the Grand Canyon so we get a lot of tourists in here. Up until recently, we had no ranges at all here, indoor or outside. The California people moved in and filed law suits and shut all our ranges down. They were shut down for well over 30 years and if you wanted to shoot you had to go out into the Nat. Forest which is a longer drive and a good 4X4 was required to get there.. So that stopped the average shooter who goes to the range every weekend to shoot. We have a new range but I haven't been there so I don't know anything about it.
The custom guns keep things busy here as we have a lot of out of state folks in to look at them and usually buy or order one.
Parts are still very tight and hard to get. Especially with Thompson Center gone, the custom Contenders and Encores are dead in the water unless someone comes up with internal parts.

Doesn’t equal sales, but background checks are way up per

In Arizona the number of background checks may not mean much

as so many Arizona folks have our carry permit so no background check is required. With the permit you fill out the paperwork, pay for the gun and walk out the door.

Same in Texas.
