Reeder Custom Guns - Here is your deal of the day

I haven't seen one of these in many years, since the early 70s. This is the 6½" S&W model 14 in 38 Special. A gun highly sought after by the guys shooting in matches at Ft. Campbell. The gun came out of an estate we just picked up. The gun is in excellent shape, just needs cleaning. The bore is bright and shiny. The action is nice and crisp. All in all a really nice model 14. It hasn't been fired much as it doesn't have the little ring around the cylinder after just a few shootings. The book shows $725 to $850 according to condition. The gun is a beauty and we have it priced at $595.

I've been cogitating on a 6" or so 38 for a while. It's nice to know others find them attractive as well. Especially when they remove temptation like you did. :-D
