I have a custom Ruger Redhawk chambered in 429 GNR for sale. 7-1/2” barrel, action job with 3 lb. 13 oz. trigger pull, Maxi-throat, topstrap drilled and tapped for a Leupold Dual Dovetail mount. The 429 GNR is a 454 Casull necked down to 44 caliber. Forming brass is as simple as running a 454 case into the size die. I have shot 240 grain JHP in excess of 1650 fps, 250 grain cast at 1700 fps and 310 grain cast at 1430 fps. Very good accuracy with all loads and fired cases fall out of the cylinder.

Also included are two sets of Hogue grips in addition to the factory grips, Leupold DD mount with rings, a set of Hornady custom dies with complete load data and almost 300 pieces of brass.

$1500 plus $50 shipping.

Scope not included and is for reference only.

My RH is a 9.5" Super. I also have a second fitted complete cylinder and crane assy. in .44 mag. straight wall. You can find them on the web. Just in case I have some other .44 stuff I want to test. It has proven a fantastic and versatile custom for me. I could hunt the world over, from now on, with only that gun. That kit of yours is a real turn key deal.

Cull buck at the Y-O. My first with the .429 GNR, 310 gr. LEE short seated ahead of a case full of H110 and a Remington 7-1/2 cap. I was getting 1550 fps. I hit too high but got him.

years ago for African lion I took my 429 GNR and my 510 GNR. Both 8" revolvers (the 8" is a new Africa rule for handgun hunters). I ended up using the 510 GNR.

If really large game is on the list then I would carry both guns.
